Frequently Asked Questions

Which is better - Wool or Down?

Wool is proven to sleep better than down. It resists bugs, regulates temperature so you have a deeper sleep and lasts forever. It's more expensive to manufacture so has fallen out of favor as big companies move to synthetics and down which are easy and cheap to make. Read our blog post on the 5 Reasons Wool is better than Down.

Why is it so expensive?

If we sold this product through traditional retail stores it would cost over $500. The sheep are treated properly and their wool is expensive. We use only the finest materials and the product is made, ethically, by hand. This is an investment piece, a comforter / duvet you'll be proud to own for decades to come.

What is Climate Beneficial wool?

Climate Beneficial Wool takes into account the impact of farming on the environment - drawing down carbon from the air into the soil, where it's needed. The sheep are well cared for and grazing on grass. And chances are the sheep that gave the wool for your duvet will likely be happily grazing on grass next year - producing another batch of wool. A process your grandparent's would be proud of.

What about allergies and dust mites?

Mold, mildew, dust mites and other allergens thrive in warm, moist environments. Wool naturally wicks moisture away keeping you dry and comfortable at night while also creating the exact opposite environment where allergens grow. A win-win for your sleep.

How much wool does your duvet have?

Our Queen size has 3.5 lbs of wool and King size has 5 lbs of wool. We feel these are the best weights for year-round use.

Does this duvet / comforter require a duvet cover?

We recommend you always use a comforter / duvet with a duvet cover - our A50 Duvet Cover is a perfect fit and comes with corner ties to keep the duvet perfectly positioned. This allows for protection from stains and spills - and is easily washable to prolong the life of your Comfort Temp Duvet.

Free Domestic Shipping

Due to the extremely high cost of shipping we only ship the Comfort Temp Duvet to the lower 48 States. Ground shipping is free but there are no expedited or express options.

How should I care for my Comfort Temp Duvet?

The best way to keep your Custom Comfort Duvet fresh is to let it air out in the sun a few times a year. This will naturally rejuvenate it and bring it back to life.
