How do our Northwest Wool Throws get that durable, breathable quality? Domestically-grown wool! All of our wool is sourced from local farmers, including a family-owned operation in Oregon who have been ethically raising and shearing sheep for decades. When our team visited them for the first time, they were in the middle of shearing 250 sheep! Rest easy knowing your new wool blanket supports multiple generations of hardworking American farmers.

Happy sheep raised on a small family-owned farm in Oregon. We're proud to have visited the farm and interview the owners where our sheep are raised. The process is good for the environment, actually sequestering carbon back in the ground and replenishing the soil.

Launched in October 2025 to celebrate 10 years of Authenticity50, the Northwest Wool Throw took two years to develop. Each blanket is made from ethically-raised Oregon wool, which is spun and woven in Washington State at the renowned Pendleton Woolen Mills®. It's then cut to our unique specifications and finished with a clean, whipstitched edge and a hand-stitched label - all under the same roof!
